Master Chef Finalist Oli Martin Playing with Clay (Maybe)

Last year was our first Cumbria Life Homes and Gardens Show. We had a lovely time and we are really looking forward to 2019. This year we talk with Master Chef Finalist Oli Martin from Hipping Hall.

All three of us are giving a demonstration and talk, at 11am on Friday 15th March in the big lecture theatre. We are talking with Master Chef Finalist Oli Martin from Hipping Hall about how much fun we have working together. Of course we will be talking about the amazing and bonkers experience of making ceramics to order for Master Chef the Professionals.

Martin will be demonstrating the most difficult bowl he has made for Oli and together they will be designing and making the prototype of a new bowl that Oli is commissioning. You will also get to ask questions, learn a great deal about the importance of the right bows and plates and a little bit about the art of   “plating up”.

We are also doing a small meet the maker session with Daniel Lacey. We will be talking about how we collaborate generally and updates on our 5360 Bog Oak story. This will be in the atrium at 1pm on Saturday 16th March.
